This week, our community came together for something much bigger than a round of golf.

More than 250 golfers, sponsors, volunteers and supporters gathered at Thornhill Golf & Country Club with one shared purpose: helping families stay close during some of the hardest days of their lives.

It was a day of friendly competition, generous giving and meaningful connection — and above all, it was a powerful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together for families facing some of life’s hardest moments.

Thanks to your incredible generosity, this year’s tournament raised more than $367,000 to help families stay close while their seriously ill or injured children receive medical care.

A special thank you to our Presenting Sponsor, Turner Construction, our Golf Committee, sponsors, volunteers and every golfer who made the day such a success.

Throughout the day, golfers heard from families whose lives have been changed by Ronald McDonald House Toronto.

When people ask Allison Spinelli what Ronald McDonald House Toronto meant to her family, she always comes back to one phrase: Peace of mind.

As her daughter Amelia underwent treatment at SickKids, it was the ordinary things that made the biggest difference… A meal she didn’t have to prepare… A shower… A real bed… A place for Oliver to play… A quiet moment to catch her breath before returning to the hospital. “Those things might sound ordinary,” Allison says, “but when your child is seriously ill… they’re everything.”

Jessica Mitropoulos has experienced that support twice — once for each of her sons. For her family, Ronald McDonald House Toronto meant never having to choose between being with one child or the other, allowing their family to stay together through two unimaginable journeys.

Last year, Ronald McDonald House Toronto supported 4,724 families, providing 31,126 overnight stays at our 81-bedroom House and welcoming families through more than 68,000 visits to our seven Ronald McDonald Family Rooms across Ontario.

Every round played, every sponsorship and every donation helps make those moments possible for the next family who receives life-changing news.

Thank you for showing what community looks like when families need it most.
