More than 50 volunteers joined us at the House for an afternoon filled with connection, reflection, and gratitude — a chance to honour the people who help make this place feel like home for families far from their own.

This week, westjet brought Christmas Miracle magic to families staying at Ronald McDonald House Toronto 💙 …

WestJet first reached out to alumni families across Canada, asking them to share heartfelt messages of what it feels like to be here during the hardest moments in a parent’s life. These messages helped inspire thousands of gifts that WestJetters carefully selected, wrapped, and delivered to Houses across the country.

On December 10, their team arrived at our House with kindness, warmth, and pure holiday joy — creating a moment families will never forget.

Since 2007, WestJet has helped more than 7,200 families travel for lifesaving medical care. This year, over 700 WestJetters volunteered to make the Christmas Miracle possible.

To every WestJetter and every alumni family who shared a message of hope: thank you for reminding our families that they are never alone.

This holiday season, families like Heidi and her three-year-old son Noah are spending the holidays far from …home.

Born with a rare and life-threatening kidney disease, Noah has spent much of his young life in hospitals. For Heidi, that’s meant holidays lived in waiting rooms and hallways — until Ronald McDonald House Toronto became their home away from home.

Here, home is a cozy room just steps from the communal kitchen, where chef-prepared meals are served, children can continue their studies in the in-house school, and families find programs, activities, and quiet moments to reconnect between hospital visits. It’s where hope stays.

We’re celebrating our National Partner moneris and their #GoodforSmall campaign, which is shining a …spotlight on the powerful role Canadian small businesses play in their communities — including ours here at Ronald McDonald House Toronto.

This October, Moneris and their small business customers donated $250,000 to support families staying at Ronald McDonald House Chapters across Canada. We are incredibly grateful that $45,973 of that support was directed to Ronald McDonald House Toronto thanks to the generosity of millstreetcheese Market.

We were thrilled to welcome Jackie, Owner of The Mill Street Cheese Market, for a tour of the House and to share a home-cooked mac and cheese meal with families — a warm, comforting moment after long days at the hospital.
