At Ronald McDonald House Toronto and in …Ronald McDonald House Family Rooms in seven hospitals in the GTA and Sudbury, it often looks like families doing whatever they can to stay close during a child’s medical journey.
It looks like early mornings on the way to appointments.
Late nights after long hospital days.
Coffee reheated three times.
Parents trying to balance fear, exhaustion, logistics, and hope — all while helping their child feel safe and loved.
And in the middle of all of it, small comforts begin to matter deeply.
A warm meal.
A quiet room.
A place to rest close to the hospital.
A community that understands without needing explanations.
Every day, we see extraordinary care in action — not only from medical teams, but from parents and caregivers carrying more than most people will ever see.
